Way to go Jannifer Powelson! Keep up the great work- Authors should follow your lead!

Hello friends and family!

I am writing to you to see if you can give me a little help. You are the lucky recipient of this e-mail, because I know that you have read one or both of my books  -- Rachel and Sammy Visit the Prairie and/or Rachel and Sammy Visit the Forest and have told me that you liked it. (hopefully you weren't just being nice! :))

Though my books are currently carried at Barnesandnoble.com, I am in the process of trying to get my books picked up by Barnes and Noble stores, and it is quite a process for unknown authors published through small press. Multiple customer reviews are advantageous, not just for trying to get my books into the B&N stores, but they also help to guide online shoppers who are trying to make a decision about purchasing a book. It is hard to really showcase my books online, since you can't see the full picture. It's not like you can stand at the bookstore and thumb through a copy, so reviews are very handy! I am hoping that you would like to write a review for one or both of the books.

Below are the links to purchase and review the books through Amazon.com and Barnesandnoble.com. 

If you doing a review at Amazon.com, something else that is beneficial is to agree that the other customer reviews are helpful and with the tags associated with my books.

1. click on the reviews, then click 'yes' on each review that was helpful;
2. return to the main page and on tags, please click that you agree with the tags for my books; (tags for prairie book are below as an example for what to look for)
3. click on the advertisements on the page, let the screen come up and then close it; do not buy anything.

It sounds complicated, but it will only take a couple of minutes at most. According to my marketing coach, these are simple things that can be done to make my books more noticable to potential customers. Of course if you do not have a copy, please feel free to order one. ;)

Reviews from Amazon.com can also be copied and pasted into B&N.com. Reviews do not need to be long or complicated; I really don't want anyone to spend much time on reviews, and I would appreciate any help you can give me.

 

If you have read one of the books and would like to also review the other book, let me know, and I will be glad to e-mail you copies of the pdf files. Book books are similar in format.

 

Again, I really appreciate everyone's help and support. Book marketing takes a lot of time and effort, and it is nice to have a few others helping me.
